DigitalFlyer SA Agent Programme

Agent terms

Version 1.1 (14 August 2026), last updated 14 August 2026. Digital Flyer (Pty) Ltd, registration 2018/350974/07. These terms apply to everyone accepted into the DigitalFlyer SA Agent Programme, from the day you accept them. Read them before you tick the box. If something here does not suit you, do not join, and there are no hard feelings.

The short version

You introduce a business to DigitalFlyer SA. They sign up and pay. You earn a share of what they pay, every year they stay.

Yearly plans pay you 25%, rising to 35% once you have more than ten yearly members. Monthly plans pay you 10%. We pay out weekly, once you have R750 or more.

That is the whole deal. The rest of this page is the detail.

1. What this is

  1. 1.1You introduce South African businesses to DigitalFlyer SA. When one of them becomes a paying member through your referral link, you earn a share of what they pay, and you keep earning it for as long as they keep paying.
  2. 1.2We build the pages, run the platform and handle all support. Your job is the introduction.

2. You are not our employee

  1. 2.1You are an independent person doing your own thing. You are not employed by Digital Flyer (Pty) Ltd.
  2. 2.2There is no salary, no basic, no benefits and no minimum.
  3. 2.3You choose your own hours and work however you like.
  4. 2.4You are responsible for your own tax.
  5. 2.5Nothing here creates a partnership, a joint venture or an employment relationship.
  6. 2.6We cannot and do not guarantee you any income. What you earn depends entirely on how many businesses you bring in and whether they stay. Some agents will earn very little. We would rather tell you that now.

3. What you earn

  1. 3.1On any plan paid monthly, you earn 10% of what the business pays.
  2. 3.2On any plan paid yearly, you earn 25%, rising to 35% once you have more than ten yearly members. Once you pass ten, your first ten move up with you when they renew.
  3. 3.3You earn on renewals for as long as that business keeps paying us.
  4. 3.4Commission is calculated on our published price, excluding VAT where it applies. You may not offer, quote or advertise any price other than our published one.

4. Registered non-profit organisations

  1. 4.1A registered NPO may take part at a higher rate: 25% on any plan paid monthly, and 50% on any plan paid yearly.
  2. 4.2This is approved by Dewald Rosema personally, following a meeting, and by no other route. There is no online application.
  3. 4.3The NPO must be registered, must hold an NPO number, and must be doing work aligned with community support and upliftment. Payment is made to the organisation, never to an individual.

5. When and how you get paid

  1. 5.1Commission is earned when the business's payment actually clears, not when they sign up.
  2. 5.2It is then held for 14 days, which covers reversed payments.
  3. 5.3Once your available balance reaches R750 we pay the whole balance to your bank account. We pay out weekly.
  4. 5.4If your balance sits for longer than six months, we pay it out regardless of the amount.
  5. 5.5You must give us correct banking details in your own name, or your NPO's name, and keep them current.
  6. 5.6If a business is refunded after you have been paid, that amount comes off your next earnings. We will never send you an invoice or ask you to pay money back.

6. Staying on the programme

  1. 6.1Sign in to your dashboard at least once every 60 days.
  2. 6.2There is no sales target and no quota. Signing in is the only thing we ask.
  3. 6.3If you go quiet we will warn you three times before anything happens.

7. If you go quiet

  1. 7.1Suspension after three months. If you have not signed in and have not responded to us for three months, your account is suspended. Your balance is held for you. It is not taken away.
  2. 7.2After six months. If we still have not heard from you six months after your last contact, and we have tried to reach you at least three times by email and WhatsApp with a final notice giving you a date, your unclaimed balance is split in two.
  3. 7.3Half is donated to HelpLift, a South African community giving platform. HelpLift is a separate organisation and Dewald Rosema serves on its board. We tell you this so it is never a surprise.
  4. 7.4Half goes into the agent rewards pool, which funds the bonuses and recognition paid to agents who are still active.
  5. 7.5If you come back within six months of that, tell us and we will reinstate your balance from the pool.
  6. 7.6If your account closes for any other reason, everything you have already earned is still paid to you.

8. What you may not do

  1. 8.1Say or imply that you work for, are employed by, or represent Digital Flyer (Pty) Ltd as a staff member. You are independent and you must say so.
  2. 8.2Promise a business anything we do not do. No promises about search rankings, how many customers they will get, or what they will earn.
  3. 8.3Quote, offer or advertise a price other than our published price.
  4. 8.4Take money from a business yourself. Every payment goes through us.
  5. 8.5Post the same message repeatedly into groups, or send unsolicited bulk messages using our name.
  6. 8.6Sign up a business without their knowledge, or use anybody's details without their permission.
  7. 8.7Use our name, logo or materials for anything other than introducing businesses to us.
  8. 8.8First time we will talk to you about it. Second time ends the arrangement. Everything you have already earned is still paid to you.

9. What we give you

  1. 9.1Your own agent page and your own referral link.
  2. 9.2A dashboard showing who clicked, who signed up, who is on trial, who has paid, and their contact details so you can follow up.
  3. 9.3A basic kit: our brand assets, approved wording, our prices, and answers to the questions you will be asked.
  4. 9.4Beyond that, follow our social channels and use what we publish. How you find businesses is up to you. We do not produce personalised marketing material for each agent, and we do not tell you how to work.
  5. 9.5While you are an active agent, one Growth page for your own business, free. It is the ordinary product, not a cut-down version, and you build it the same way any member does.
  6. 9.6That page carries a small "Built with DigitalFlyer" credit in its footer. The credit is your own referral link, so anyone who follows it is tracked to you. Leaving the credit in place is the condition of the page being free.
  7. 9.7If you stop being an active agent, your free business page moves to normal pricing. We will tell you first, and your page stays up while you decide. From there it is an ordinary account like any other.

10. Referrals and who gets the credit

  1. 10.1A business is credited to the agent whose referral link they used to sign up.
  2. 10.2If a business signs up without a link, no commission is due.
  3. 10.3If two agents claim the same business, the referral link recorded at sign-up decides it.
  4. 10.4You cannot claim a business that was already a member, or that had already started signing up before your introduction.
  5. 10.5We cannot pay commission on your own business, or on a business you own or control.

11. The businesses you introduce

  1. 11.1The business becomes our member and our customer. We deal with them directly on support, billing and everything else.
  2. 11.2We decide who we accept as a member and we may decline anyone.
  3. 11.3If a business you introduced cancels, your commission on that business stops when their payments stop.

12. Personal information

  1. 12.1You will handle the contact details of businesses you speak to. You must comply with POPIA. In short: only collect what you need, only use it for introducing them to us, do not sell it or pass it on, and delete it when you no longer need it.
  2. 12.2We handle your personal information according to our Privacy Policy.

13. Changing these terms

  1. 13.1We may change these terms or the commission rates. We will tell you before we do.
  2. 13.2Members you have already signed keep your existing rate until their next renewal. Changes apply to new members from the date we announce them.
  3. 13.3If you do not accept a change, you may leave, and everything you have earned up to that point is still paid to you.

14. Ending it

  1. 14.1You may leave at any time. Tell us and we will pay out what you have earned on the next payout run.
  2. 14.2We may end the arrangement at any time, with the exception that we will not do so to avoid paying commission you have already earned.
  3. 14.3If we end it because of a breach of section 8, everything you have already earned is still paid to you.
  4. 14.4When it ends, you stop earning on future renewals, you must stop using our name, logo and materials, and your agent page comes down.

15. Liability

  1. 15.1We are not responsible for any loss of income, profit, opportunity or anything else arising from your work as an agent. You take part at your own risk and you run your own affairs.
  2. 15.2If we are ever found liable for anything, our total liability is limited to the commission we paid you in the three months before the claim.

16. Governing law

  1. 16.1These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of South Africa, and the South African courts have jurisdiction.
  2. 16.2If any part of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the rest still applies.

17. If something is unclear

  1. 17.1Ask us before you assume. Message us on WhatsApp on 068 870 7434 or email info@digitalflyer.co.za.
  2. 17.2By ticking the box on the application form, you confirm that you have read and understood these terms and that you agree to them.

Questions about any of this? The agent programme page answers the common ones in plain language, and says the same thing.
